‍These terms of service (these “Terms”) governs your use of our Shipping Insurance, which may be alternatively branded as Shipping Protection, or other similar names (the “Service”). “We” or “us” or “our” refer to VELOWAVE. “You” or “your” refer to the person indicating acceptance of these Terms or using the Service.

YOUR PURCHASE OF THE SERVICE INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS.


1. USE OF THE SERVICE.

The Service covers the following situations, as applicable.

‍Loss due to non-delivery - Where the order is presumed to be lost because the order was not delivered

Damage - damage during shipping (after shipment and prior to delivery)

Porch Piracy - theft of a package after the order has been marked as delivered by the applicable shipping carrier, at the correct destination

For each Service type, the compensation will not exceed the actual order value paid for the purchase.

For the avoidance of doubt, we are only liable for loss or damage to VELOWAVE products caused during the logistics process after the products have been shipped by us. We reserve the right to determine any refund amount due to you under this Service.

2. CHANGE TO THE TERMS.

We may add to, change or remove any part of these Terms, at any time without prior notice to you other than listing a later effective date than the one set forth at the top of these Terms. Such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting a notification within the Service or by contacting you via email at the address you provided. As your next use of the Service may be governed by different Terms, we encourage you to look for a new effective date on these Terms when you use the Service. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes. Your use or continued use of the Service following the posting or notice of any changes to these Terms shall constitute your acceptance of the changed Terms.

3. FEES.

‍The fee for the Service will be displayed when you are making your purchase of our VELOWAVE Products, and you shall timely pay such fee. We reserve the right to charge for or change the fees associated with use of the Service at any time subject to these Terms.

We use your data in accordance with our privacy policy. Please consult our privacy policies for how it collects, stores and uses your data. You acknowledge that use of the Service involves transmission of Your Data and other communications over the Internet and other networks, and that such transmissions could potentially be accessed by unauthorized parties.

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DISCLAIM LIABILITY FOR ANY INTERFERENCE WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THE RESULTS OF SUCH USE.

7. VALUATION

Insured goods are valued at the invoice amount, excluding taxes, charges, and freight costs.

8.LIMITS OF LIABILITY

The compensation amount for loss or damage will be determined based on the specific circumstances but will not exceed the actual order value paid.

9. DURATION OF COVERAGE

Coverage begins when the shipment leaves our facility and ends upon delivery to the designated recipient. Any loss or damage occurring outside of this period is not covered under the Service.

10. EXCLUSIONS

The Service does not cover the following situations:

Acts of War or Terrorism: Loss or damage resulting from acts of war, terrorism, or civil unrest.

Natural Disasters: Any loss or damage caused by natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, or other similar events.

Geographic Exclusions: Loss or damage occurring in areas excluded in our Shipping Policy.

Order Number: Required to verify your purchase.

Frame Number: Located on the headtube of your bike, this unique identifier is essential for processing your claim.

Our team will review your claim and provide further instructions for resolution.
