Our new warranty policy, effective from March 22, 2024, will provide benefits to customers who make purchases from this date onwards, while those who purchased before will continue to receive the one-year warranty.

At Velowave Bikes, we take great pride in the quality and durability of our products. We're confident that you will be impressed as well, and we stand behind all of our products. Every ebike we sell is covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects subject to the terms below.

Covered Products

  • This warranty applies only to products, parts, and components (hereafter PRODUCTS) that have been manufactured, assembled, or sold in new condition by Velowave Bikes.
  • This warranty applies only to replacement repair of PRODUCTS in case of a manufacturing flaw in materials or workmanship, in accordance with the Scope of Warranty Service, and subject to any and all exclusions, limitations, and procedures explained below.
  • This warranty is not transferable in any way and may not be exercised by anyone other than the original retail buyer (hereafter BUYER) of the PRODUCTS, only if the BUYER has retained constant ownership of the PRODUCTS since their original purchase of the PRODUCTS and only to PRODUCTS purchased in new condition either.

Warranty Period: 2 Years

  • Battery packs are covered for a 2-year Warranty from the date of original retail purchase or up to 300 charging cycles, whichever occurs first. The batteries are designed to retain up to 75% of their original capacity during that time.
  • Other electronic components including the motor, controller, display, charger, and throttle are covered under a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Bicycle frames are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Mechanical components are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • For all PRODUCTS, this warranty period is counted from the date the products were delivered to the BUYER unless excluded from warranty or otherwise voided from coverage under warranty.
  • New Bike Guarantee - we offer full replacement of defective parts with free shipping within the first 30 days of your bike order. After 30 days the customer is responsible for all return shipment costs to Velowave.

Apart from manufacturing defects that could be present, parts that wear due to normal use

such as :

  • Bearings
  • Brake Pads
  • Chains
  • Free Hub Bodies
  • Handlebar Grips
  • Rubber moving parts
  • Shifter, brake cables and casings
  • Spokes
  • Sprockets
  • Stripped threads/bolts
  • Tools
  • Transmission gears

are not included in the warranty but may be replaced on a case-by-case basis within the first 60 days. We shall not be liable if you install, operate, clean, or maintain your ebike without following the owners' manual instructions. Misuse, abuse, alteration, and natural disasters are not included in this warranty.

Note: No official warranty is provided for used e-bikes.


For all orders (including pre-orders), your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship.

BEFORE SHIPMENT: We will cancel the order for free, but we cannot guarantee your order cancellation request will reach the shipping warehouse in time to stop your shipment, so please notify us as early as possible of your cancellation request.  

AFTER SHIPMENT: Requests to cancel an order or reject a package after shipment will incur a processing fee of 20% of the purchase price.

The customer needs to email Velowave’s customer service team regarding any order cancellation. Once an order cancellation request has been approved, Velowave will email the customer a cancellation notification email. The customer shall not send a return package to Velowave without receiving notification. Velowave will reject all shipments that are not scheduled to arrive, and the customer is responsible for any related fee or loss.




Customers may return the product due to serious shipping damage (affecting the use of functions) or missing parts. For us to better understand the problem and solve it effectively, photos and / or videos are REQUIRED as evidence.

*Definition of critically-damaged items: the main structure of the product is obviously deformed and affects its normal functions in any form. 

Note: the following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the free replacement or refund policy:

  • Minor damage to the outer packaging.
  • Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.
  • Damage to parts or wearing parts after excessive use.
  • Damage to parts or wearing parts after using for a certain while or a certain number of times.

Possible Solutions:

- If an item is missing: we will resend the missing item/accessory for free.

- If we have shipped the wrong item: we will either refund you in full or dispatch an alternative item (if applicable and available). Velowave will decide whether you need to return the wrong product or not and compensate you the return shipping fee when we receive it.

- If the product is damaged in transit: please contact us first at


For e-bike products: We allow you to return any item in new and unused condition within 14 days of receipt for a refund with no restocking fee, minus $200 shipping fee ($200/item deducted from refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying any charges for return shipping, which may vary depending on the shipping company selected. For customers who want to return the product for their own reasons, Velowave will not bear the shipping cost of returning the package.

Returns of used items. Any items returned in a used condition may be returned within 14 days. However, there is a return shipping fee of $200 per item and a restocking fee of fifty percent (50%) of the purchase price (both deducted from refund), in addition, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying any charges for return shipping, which may vary depending on the shipping company selected. For customers who want to return the product for their own reasons, Velowave will not bear the shipping cost of returning the package.

To be eligible for a return, the customer must meet the terms instructed below:

  • Must be in like-new condition and free from dirt, dust, or fragrances
  • Must be in the original packaging (all cardboard and foam) and condition that you received it
  • Must include all items that were included inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.)
  • The ebike must be under ten (10) miles on the odometer


For accessories products: any returned accessory or replacement part must be unused, free of wear and tear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or other signs of use. It must be sealed and unopened in the same packaging and condition you received it. We will charge $20 for sent out shipping & restocking ($20/item will be deducted from the refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping, which may vary depending on the carrier selected.

Please notice: if a customer decided to arrange the return shipment by himself and the request has been confirmed by Velowave’s customer service team, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the shipping and the success of the return. The customer must choose the signature confirmation service for the shipment, and we highly recommend adding additional shipping insurance for the return package. Velowave will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or other accident to the shipment arranged by the customer.

Non-returnable/non-refundable Items:

- For an ebike that has been delivered for more than 14 days or used for more than 10 miles, we do not accept returns anymore and follow our warranty policy.

- Used Products, batteries, special orders, sale items, and gifted orders shall not be returnable except in extreme cases of breakage/malfunction covered by our warranty, and then only after receipt of our approval for the return.



Please understand that any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one ebike or multiple ebike. Once our warehouse has received the returned product(s) and checked to confirm it meets our return condition, we will deduct any applicable fee and send the remaining refund according to the customer's original payment method. We will refund within 3 business days.

Customers are encouraged to check with their credit card company and/or bank if the refund has not been posted to their account within three days of being issued. Delays may occur due to the different fund transfer procedures in different financial institutions. Please contact us at if the customer has not received the refund after ten business days.


We provide ebike shipping via FedEx Ground delivery. We offer free delivery for all electric bikes. However, there will be a delivery fee for accessories. Shipping for bikes may vary depending on the shipping address. Bikes will be shipped within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and may take anywhere from 3-7 business days for delivery, depending on FedEx.

Great Bike

This is a very early impression of the Spirit ebike. I've been researching ebikes for a year or so and the ones I wanted were in the $1500-2000 range. I wasn't ready to make that kind of investment. When I came across the Velowave Spirit it checked enough boxes for me: light weight so I could bike without the motor if I wanted, a reasonable price, road bike looks with thin tires. It was the lower cost that got me to make the purchase and thankfully the reviews about it were good. It came very well packaged and I was able to put it together in about 20 minutes. I think it's good looking and the green color is very nice. It's clean without a lot of extras and bulk. Even though the motor is small it does a great job for my needs. I have some hills to climb in my area and one long hill with about a 25 degree incline. Using pas 3 I climb it fairly easily using a little pedal effort. It's a surprisingly capable bike and I've been having a lot of fun with it so far.

There's a few issues: the frame came with a couple of noticeable scratches. One on the handlebars and one on the frame. It's not a big deal but it's worth mentioning. The saddle is pretty uncomfortable and after a couple of rides the cushioning started separating from the plastic underneath. I'm planning on replacing the seat anyway but it's not good that it started to fall apart so quickly. The battery is integrated into the down tube which I like a lot but it's not removable. Velowave said they can sell me a replacement battery set when I need one but that I should find a bike shop that can do the actual replacement since it's not an easy project. It would have been nice to have a removable or better designed battery replacement system. I've been struggling to get the front wheel disc to stop rubbing on the brake caliper. I've tried adjusting it a few times and it's improving but I still can't get the brake disc to sit in the middle of the caliper. I'll take the bike to a shop to have it done. The brakes squeak quite a bit but they're still in the first miles so hopefully that will go away eventually. I expected there would be some issues on a $500 ebike like this but for the price I can overlook it.

This bike is a blast to ride and because it's so lightweight it doesn't feel like an ebike. I can maneuver it easily and I'll ride it without the pas at times because of how light it is. The pas integrates really well with pedalling. I ride it mostly on pas 1 or 2 but pas 3 for big hills. I think this is a great ebike for around town transportation and it's a lot of fun.

I was not expecting much from this company, but after 75 miles, I must say that I am impressed!

This bike looks great!
has decent battery capacity for a 250w I still get 40+ miles (I'm 250 lbs and I have loaded the bike down).
The components of the bike are entry level bike shop quality and have proven durability.
Standard cycling component upgrades will work.
Easy to operate electronics.

Lack of attachment points ( all you get is 1 bottle cage attachment)
Non replaceable battery ( if the battery fails, you have to send the bike back)
Customer service seems responsive within about a day but there is a bit of a language barrier.
Not much info on warranty

overall, for the price, this is a great little commuter ebike. As you can see from the pictures, I was able to outfit it to be a nice little grocery getter. And after 75+ miles the bike still runs strong.

Note: The largest "gravel/knob" tires that I could find to fit this bike 700x32c



This bike is a hidden gem!

I love this bike for the price. I have a standard road bike that I use to commute back and forth to work. I live in Wyoming and the wind can sometimes be brutal. This allows me to pedal into a pretty strong headwind. It is pedal assist and not throttled, which is fine by me. I bought a bike because I want to pedal ;) I‘ve only ridden it twice now so I can’t comment on the longevity, but for the price this is a well made bike. Assembly took about 20 minutes by myself. I am a 5‘4’‘ female and the frame fits me great, the only change I will make is eventually upgrade the seat. Orange color is gorgeous. Go buy this bike!

Great Bike

I bought this e-bike for my father for his birthday. (79 years old) he loves the bike. The only thing is he's constantly getting flats with this bike. Not sure if it's a design flaw seems like the spokes are poking holes in the inner tube. We put the spokes yellow guard on the wheels that came with the bike, but we still have the same issues. This review would have been five stars rating, but dealing with this has brought it down.

Great bike

Although the process to put the bike together was tedious it is a good bike. Even without having the bike on and riding it normal it is smooth, putting the bike on mode three brings it to a whole another level.

I'm loving my new bike! We live in a hilly area and it's impossible for me to keep up with my husband and kids, despite being in good shape. Now I can! Yay! Wish there was an app that goes with the bike to get health info from my workout.
