Wonderful bike! Just hit 350 miles on it. I commute 13.5 miles round trip on this bike and it has been amazing. Rain, gravel, pavement, it does well. I even bought my wife a Velowave bike and she loves it. Next up will be my son if they go on sale.

Was not sure about the whole e-bike thing before I got one. Let me tell you this is a game changer. I love to go out for a ride on my regular bike but with having lower back problems it causes much pain. After purchasing my e-bike I can go out and do 15 miles and am feeling good afterwards. This bike is heavy duty. Great build and east to put together. They included all tools needed only thing I had to supply was air to top the tires off. Battery was 95% charged when it got here. Thanks for a great product.

I have only had this bike a few weeks now...Vey happy with it. Very easy to assemble. Had a few rides on the beach so far. You need a bit of skill for thicker sand...but the shoreline is like riding on pavement with the fat tires. On the road is very smooth, fast and fun! Sturdy and we'll built. Excellent deal at this price. They don't ship to Canada which is unfortunate...but I live near the border and friends brought it over for me.
Customer service had very fast response and we're helpful. Highly recommend.

After receiving the bike I put it together. The surprise was when I turned turned on the power got on the bike and pushed on the pedals. The bike took off, didn't realize how responsive it would be. I love this little bike,I ride it almost every day. I love its looks, the riding position is perfect. I bought this bike to ride to work, I don't have to tell you how gas prices are right now. First day I road it to work I to much weight on it and used up the battery a little to much, had to recharge at work, next day I took some weight off and went the whole 16 miles round trip on one charge, with 52 percent left on the battery. The bike is a joy to ride, I like to run it on level three, with that I can run at around twenty miles an hour with out to much effort. Thank you for a nice riding experience. Bob

I bought this bike in January 2022, been riding it on weekends ever since. The bike is well constructed, the electronics, charger, battery, and battery's charge retention is excellent. Plenty of power. I happened to loose my keys (hoping I can buy another set from the seller) but I can still charge the bike even when the battery isn't removed.

The headlight is pretty heavy-duty and emits plenty of illumination, the Bafang motor is a premium brand name in the industry, gives me plenty of power. Hydraulic brakes stop the bike immediately, gave me a lot of confidence when riding. Though I had read other reviews that mentioned a weakness in the Shimano derailer, but so far so good here. The paint is good and the branding is unobtrusive, unlike some of the other bikes I looked at.

A couple of cons; the bike is a bit taller than usual, not a problem for me but my kid has a bit of trouble with it. Same thing with the weight, its a bit heavy for younger/elderly people. But most of the bikes with this level of power/fat tires seem to be on the heavy side, might be a norm. Would I prefer rear suspension, mid-drive, blinkers/rear brakelights integrated into the electronics? Sure...but I wasn't ready to spring out a few hundred bucks more for them. It's really hard to complain about anything based on the great bang for the buck this Velowave provides.

I researched dozens of bikes because these things are not inexpensive. But this one has the perfect combination of what I wanted/needed. Other ebikes in this price range or higher often lack hydraulic brakes, a Bafang motor, and/or the high capacity battery, and sometimes you only notice those missing things when reading fine print. In my opinion this is the best value in ebikes out there right now. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Got it a couple of weeks ago. Took the bike out on two trails so far. Worked very well. Hardly used any battery on a 10 mile trip. Packaging was impressive and bike was in perfect condition when I received it. Went together easily. There should be a operation & maintenance manual, there is just a minimal assembly manual which is adequate for assembly. Purchased the fender kit & headlight. Assembly instructions for those was not very good and not very clear. Really like the bike though and am glad I bought it. It’s also very sharp looking.

Was an expecting such great building quality for the price that I paid an every Tool included to build the bike great job

Could feel an immediate difference. Roses are much smoother. Would highly recommend

I've been riding things with 2 wheels since I was knee high to a grasshopper! Started riding motorcycles when I was 6 and haven't stopped in my 50 years since. The whole idea of an ebike wasn't something that appealed to me--I still have a 1000cc Superbike and a bmw k1200lt full dress touring bike. That all changed this past March. While visiting a childhood friend of mine in ?? palm springs he and I took for a ride on his ebikes and I was HOOKED! I have a nerve condition in my legs which had relegated my trusted trek 930 single-track to a life of dust hanging in the rafters. Ebikes changed that for me.
Being a sly guy, I took full advantage of mother's day to buy my wife an ebike so we could do something active together. I'm sure you're saying, "but, Bob, why get one for your wife if you don't have one yourself?" EXACTLY. I got one for myself. And, being a more aggressive and crazier person than she, I upgraded my bike to the VELOWAVE RANGER 750. I LOVE THIS THING!

Packaging was amazing. Delivery was early. Assembly took 15 minutes. Love it love it love it! I live in a very mountainous part of Southern Denver and there are miles and miles of awesome trails literally at my back door. My only regret is that I still have to work and can't play on it more!

A quick note about some issues that other's have had. The derailer seems to break and get caught in several people's wheels. I think that this must be due to it not being adjusted properly before that first ride. Take your time. Run it through all the gears and make sure that it's properly adjusted before that maiden voyage. If you're not mechanically inclined, pay for the assembly. It's a steal vs breaking things that shouldn't have broken if it was properly adjusted. Besides that, BUY THIS BIKE AND ENJOY! Now if I could only find out where to buy a 2nd battery ?? ??.....

I have been using this bike for over a month and just love it! I actually look forward to sunny days when I can ride the bike to my commuter train station rather than take my car -- there are highways to my job so not practical for me to take all the way to work. I have hit 28/29 mph easy while on 7th gear and putting some work, though on power assist level 1 gets to 24/25 quite easily when I don't have a need for speed. The bike has a beautiful, streamlined design that is a huge plus over a big, bulky, out of place looking battery bolted onto the frame. I also love being able to charge the battery while it is installed, I do not see the need to remove for any reason other than for replacing someday. The brakes squeak like in most reviews say, but it got quieter after repeated trips. They are powerful brakes by the way; at full speed and then full application of brakes, it has such stopping power it sinks the hydraulic fork about 4 inches.

Lastly, I wringed my hands a lot on whether to buy a 500w or a 750w bike. With my experience with this one, I am impressed with the 500w power and think 750w and above is for people who psychologically need to know they have the most powerful whatever but trust me, this is scary strong for most people.

They stand behind their product and assist if you have any issues. They went way above and beyond to assist me when they didn't even have to. I love this bike, I ride it every day and have gotten to a point where I use e assist less and less it a helped me with a multitude of things from my overall health to quick and easy transportation. Plus with the cost of gas right now it's a lifesaver economically!!!!!!! Must buy at an insanely reasonable price this bike is well worth 4k get yours now because they should be charging way more for the quality and craftsmanship as well as overall performance!!!! I don't leave many reviews but I had to on this one been riding it for a year and it's as awesome as it was when I first got it!!!!!!!!!

My first fat tire electric bike, almost completely assembled when I received and only took half an hour to put together. The ebike is solidly built, very comfortable,and easy to get on and off with the step thru frame.The frame's welds are pretty solid, no worries about my weight.I have considered buying a 20" folding electric bike before,but I have a folding bicycle at home,after half a year of riding, the frame is loose.I believe this ebike will not have such a problem.eBike riding has a lot of fun,smooth and powerful, a breeze going up hills, comfy seat, no pain of back and hips.My recommendation,don't hesitate anymore.
